Why Should Anyone Trust the Election Results?

There is a consensus among corporate media on both the right and the left that Donald Trump made a huge mistake in the third Presidential Debate by not agreeing to accept the results of the election.

Chris Wallace: “Do you make the same commitment that you will absolutely — sir, that you will absolutely accept the result of this election?”

Donald Trump: “I will look at it at the time. I’m not looking at anything now. I’ll look at it at the time… What I’m saying is that I will tell you at the time. I’ll keep you in suspense. OK?”

For the next several days (perhaps weeks), the country will be inundated with OP-eds, blogs, posts, and talking heads primarily saying two things.
1: that Trump threatens our Republic’s integrity by challenging our history of a peaceful transition of power after elections.
2: that Democrats regularly challenge the results of every election they lose, most notably the Presidential election of 2000, which was determined by the Supreme Court after disputed punch cards designed by a Florida Democrat.

Donald Trump’s response was not only correct; it was in perfect keeping with our Founding Principles.

sprit_of_76-2From our Declaration of Independence to our Bill of Rights and Constitution, our Republic is based on the novel ideas that government’s one and only purpose for existence is to protect the inalienable rights of the citizenry AND that when it fails to do so, the people not only have the right, but the duty to do whatever is necessary to force its compliance, including the right to revolution.

“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it…”

Our Founders understood what it was like to live under a corrupt, lawless aristocracy where rights were whatever the ruling powers said they were; where elections meant nothing because their representatives were chosen for them. They were used to being abused and humiliated by government. They knew what tyranny was because they lived under it and gambled their lives to destroy it.

Today we have an Executive Branch that outwardly ignores the law at every turn. It not only looks the other way as millions of illegals stream into our Republic, it facilitates it. It grants them public services at our expense, enrolls them in schools, gives them access to health care, welfare, public housing, legal defense, etc.

It uses the terrifying power of its agencies to silence political opponents exercising their Constitutional rights of Free Speech and to Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances. In the 1990s, the Clintons weaponized the IRS to audit hundreds of political opponents, Conservative groups and several women who accused President Bill Clinton of sexual assault. The current administration continues the practice by directing the IRS to subject Tea Party groups to special scrutiny and deny them tax-exempt status. After years of IRS abuses, destruction of evidence and outward lying, no one has been held accountable and prosecuted.

Its EPA is used to unconstitutionally destroy entire industries with political appointees making decrees against business deemed threats to the Cult of Global Warming while increasing its own power through simple declarations.

The FBI destroyed its long and proud reputation in the blatantly political favoritism it demonstrated in mishandling the “investigation” of Hillary Clinton’s illegal use of a private email server and mishandling of classified information while Secretary of State.

Its Intelligence Community regularly monitors the citizenry’s communications illegally while secretly collecting biometric data.

Its Justice Department has chosen to ignore blatant examples of voter intimidation while embracing the domestic terrorist organization called Black Lives Matter, which openly incites violence. As thousands of examples of wide-spread voter fraud are reported around the country by county and State officials, little or nothing is done.

It releases thousands of refugees into our populations who have not and cannot be distinguished from international terrorists bent on using chemical, biological and nuclear weapons to kill Americans on American soil.

Pawns

The list of even the known abuses by our Government is massive, and these are most likely only a small fraction of their abuses against us. We have seen example after example of collusion between this administration, corporate media and the Democratic National Committee to guarantee that Hillary Clinton is the next President. They have lied, plotted, incited violence, falsely accused opponents, eavesdropped, intimidated, prosecuted and probably killed in order to preserve their power. It is clear that the Constitution, the law and the rights of the citizenry is of no importance to them; that we are merely pawns to those in power.
